Well I’m posting the pure wood project here. There will be a paint job done to it because the wood was stained with oil, years of sun and rain.
Here are some photos of the process.
The rail was going to be a wedged through mortise and tenon, but the mortise just broke in both legs so I had to come with another solution. It actually worked!

The top was mortised after into the legs, and all the top rests onto the cross rail (I actually glued it into place)
